Gdansk

 

Gdansk is the largest city on Polish Baltic Sea coast with long and rich history. Many interesting and imposing monuments make the city very popular destination amongst foreign tourists in Poland. Most of important historic buildings are to be found in the center. Gdansk is the city of famous scholars and humanists like astronomer J. Hevelius, physicist G. D. Fahrenheit, philosopher A. Schopenhauer and Nobel Prize winner for Literature Gunter Grass. Gdansk is also famous for St Mary’s Church – the biggest brick church in the world. Together with Sopot and Gdynia, Gdansk forms the so-called gdansk tours
