Zakopane
Zakopane is one of the biggest tourist resorts in Poland. Situated in Tatra Mountains – highest mountain range in Poland is called the winter capital of the country. In winter time, there are usually very good conditions for skiing and snowboarding here. Zakopane has also a lot to offer during the summer. Every year in August the International Festival of Highland Folklore is organized here. The participants are highlanders from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. Zakopane has really good location for hiking in the mountains. Famous attraction is also cable car line to Kasprowy Wierch and funicular railway ascending Gubalowka Mt.
