Krakow: One day Tour to Warsaw

Visiting Warsaw is a must if you really want to discover our country and its history. It has been capital city of Poland since 1596 when King Zygmunt III Waza moved here with his administration from Krakow. During World War II, it was gradually destroyed and finally in result of Warsaw Uprising in 1944, it became one of the most destroyed cities in world history – nearly 90% of its area was in ruins. After the war it was built from scratch but old city district was rebuilt according to its original, pre-war architectural plan, so today you can admire Warsaw historical centre and also its modern new town with numerous skyscrapers.
