Wroclaw: Tour to Krakow

Take part in our full day excursion to Krakow – one of the most stunning cities in Europe. Feel the unforgettable atmosphere of the charming Old Town and meet all the treasures which are hidden around the famous Main Main Square. This former capital of Poland is full of impressive, original architecture and a large number of historical monuments.

Meet our local city guide in Krakow and join an extraordinary journey back in time to the Middle Ages and throughout many centuries. During our 3 hours guided, walking tour of the Old Town area you will have a chance to see all major symbols of the city and monuments recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Sites in 1978. Time for lunch, coffee or deeper exploration of the city on your own, will also be included during our one day trip.

Tour itinerary:

  1. hotel pick up at chosen time
  2. up to 3,5 hours drive from Wroclaw to Krakow by private car/van with English speaking driver
  3. meeting our local, private city guide in chosen language after arriving in Krakow and up to 3 hours private walking tour around Old Town during which you will see:
  • Slowacki Theatre – eclectic, 19th-century theatre, probably the most beautiful building in Krakow
  • Barbican – historical gateway to medieval Krakow and part of medieval defensive walls
  • Florianska Gate – the main city gate and beginning of the Royal Route
  • Florianska Street – one of the most famous promenades not only in Krakow but in whole Poland, full of restaurants, coffee houses and souvenirs shops
  • St. Mary’s Basilica- built in the 14th century, one of the best examples of Polish Gothic architecture and one of the most famous churches in whole country
  • Main Market Square – the largest medieval market square in Europe and definitely one of the most beautiful ones
  • Cloth Hall (Sukiennice)- former, large market hall erected in the 13th century, one of the city’s most recognizable symbols
  • Town Hall Tower – 70 metres high remaining part of the former Town Hall, located in the middle of the Main Square
  • All Saints Square with the Pope’s Window – symbolic place where Pope John Paul II had residence during his visits in the city,
  • Collegium Maius and Collegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University – main parts of one of the oldest universities in Europe,
  • St. Peter and St. Pauls’ Church on Grodzka Street – Roman Catholic church built between 1597–1619 by Giovanni Maria Bernardoni,
  • Kanonicza Street – the oldest street in Krakow and probably the most picturesque one
  • Wawel Royal Castle with the Cathedral – an undeniable symbol of Krakow, seat of Polish Kings for many centuries and one of the most important monuments in Poland of great historical value
