Wroclaw: Poznan & Greater Poland Tour
Join us for a tour to Poznan – the capital of Greater Poland district. It is the region of huge cultural value and the cradle of Polish history, with numerous architectural monuments and historic memorabilia from the Piast times, ranging from the Piast times, all the way to the times of struggle against germanization. During our tour you will visit the center of the city. In the heart of Poznan Old Town you can find the beautiful Main Market surrounded by town houses with colourful facades. One of the most significant tourist attractions is the clock tower of the town hall, where every day at noon, two clock-work goats come out of the doors 12 times to butt their heads. After leaving Poznan, we will visit Gniezno – the very first capital of Poland. There, you will see a Gothic cathedral, where Poland’s royal rulers were crowned between 1025 and the 14th century. And after that, we will go to Biskupin – home to the remains of a 2500 year-old Iron Age fortified settlement on an island in Lake Biskupinskie
