Diocesan Museum

Diocesan Museum was opened in 1998. Headquarters is located in a historic building Diocese in Rzeszow, adapted for this purpose basement. Responsible for his conduct of the director, appointed for this purpose by the Bishop of Rzeszow.

The museum collects only objects of sacred art: paintings, sculptures, vessels and vestments, from the area of their diocese. The exhibits come from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century. Some of the exhibits collected in it, provided by several surrounding parishes, require extensive renovation.
