Carpathian Philharmonic
Philharmonic Hall Carpathian them. A. Malawski in Rzeszow was built between 1967 – 1973. The building houses a concert hall of the amphitheater audience of 800 seats, a cozy room for 300 seats, with convenient facilities. The origins date back to 1954, the Philharmonic is then formed in Rzeszow social symphony orchestra, four years later transformed into the National Symphony Orchestra, and in 1967 renamed the Philharmonic, which was named after Arthur Malawski, renowned composer and teacher of conducting and composition.
Carpathian Philharmonic Orchestra has had over 40-year history filled with significant achievements in art. Often performed in major music centers in Poland and abroad, at festivals, among others.: Wratislavia Cantas, the International Festival in Busko, Festival of European Culture Festival in Krakow or in Lancut. It has made numerous recordings for radio and television recording, recorded 6 CD's for the label of Polish and foreign (American, Italian, Korean) - including the highly rated works of Mozart's "Requiem" and the second record in the history of the global recording industry, "Messa di Gloria" by Rossini. Carpathian Philharmonic give lessons in kindergartens and schools, chamber concerts, recitals and concerts weekly 84-piece orchestra classified among the leading philharmonic bands in Poland, which attracts the faithful lovers, closely populate the room.
