The Church of the Saint Cross
The Church of the Saint Cross and the monastery complex of Piarists is situated at 3- go Maja Street, the former district called Paniaga. The Church was being erected by a bricklayer Jan Canger in the late Renaissance style between 1644-1649. The facade was made between 1705-1707 according to the design of an architect Tymlan from Gameren.
The former Piarists Convent is the complex of the buildings, consisting of the college, church and monastery building. At present the building of the college holds I LO of Stanislaw Konarski (1st High School of Stanislaw Konarski), while the monastery building holds the Regional Museum.
The interior decor of the church preserved in the Rococo style. The grave relieves of the Lubomirski Family are in the chancel.
