Zywiec Brewery
Zywiec is not only a picturesquely located town but also one of the best Polish brands of beer which is brewed locally. Zywiec Brewery within a half a century have been transformed from a local Galician factory in one of the most modern brewing companies in the world. In the Brewery you can visit the Zywiec Brewery Museum.
The Zywiec Brewery was founded in 1856 by Archduke Albrecht Frederic von Habsburg. 150 years later the Zywiec Brewery Museum was oficially open and located in the old Brewery's cellars. The exhibition contains the unique things depicting a history of the brewery and presenting the raw materials for the beer production. Thank to a time machine installed in the museum, the turists can pass through a replica of an old 19th century Zywiec's street, visit a Galician tavern and pre-war famous Warsaw "Restaurant Zywiec". That's no ordinary museum – here you can touch, try and eat everything, run or play a bowls! That's the perfect place for people for whom the secrets of beer and the brewing history are particularly close.
