Arrival to Warsaw

  • Arrival to Warsaw at x, flight number y. Meeting with the tour leader from Ernesto Travel and transfer by coach to the hotel in Warsaw. Arrival and check-in the hotel. Dinner in a restaurant of the hotel or in the restaurant in the centre of Warsaw (it depends on the arrival time). [This program can begin in Katowice or another city according to the flights schedule]. Night in Krakow.

2nd day

Warsaw – the capital of Poland – Bialowieza

  • Guided tour to Warsaw: Lazienkowski Park with the monument of Frederic Chopin, the ghetto of Warsaw, and Umschlagplatz – from here thousands of the Jews were deported to the concentration camps. Palace of Culture and Science, Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street, Old Town (inscribed to the World Heritage List of the UNESCO). The Castle (without entrance) and the St. John’s cathedral.

3rd day

Bialowieza

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Visit of the museum of the nature in Bialowieza. 3h walk in the National Park of Bialowieza (UNESCO list): Bialowieza Primeval Forest, the kingdom of the last European Bisons. Lunch in the hotel.

  • Visit in the zoological garden in Bialowieza. Visit of the catholic and orthodox churches in the town..

  • Dinner with folklore music in a local restaurant in Bialowieza.

4th day

Bialowieza

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Leisure. Optional: 3h excursion on bikes in the Bialowieski Park. Lunch in the hotel
  • Departure to Hajnowka – Topilo. A trip on turistic train to the Forest.

  • Return to the hotel and dinner outside with fire, music, barbecue, etc.

5th day

Bialowieza – Narewka – Kruszyniany – Krynki – Bialystok

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out the hotel in Bialowieza.

  • Travel to Narewka and a short visit. Stop in Kruszyniany where the generations of Tatars of o Mongolian tribe lived, visit to the mosque and to the mizar (cemetery). Transfer to Krynki and visit to the synagogue and kirkut (cemetery). Visit to the Orthodox Church of Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Crossing Knyszynska Forest. Lunch box.

6th day

Bialystok – Kurowo (Narwianski Park) – Pentowo – Tykocin – Kiermusy

  • Transfer to Kurowo and visit to the Narwianski Park – an area with plenty of fluvial inlets of the Narew river, called Polish Amazonia. The major asset of the park is a unique natural ecosystem of a river valley. Boat trip to the labyrinth of the Narew river. The observation of the various species of watery plants and birds (more than 200 birds species). Visit of Pentowo – European capital of storks. Lunch box.
  • Arrival to Tykocin, short visit and check-in the pension of Kiermusy.

7th day

Kiermusy – Goniadz (Augustow)

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out. Transfer to Goniadz. Visit of Russian fortification in Osowiec. Lunch box. Visit of the Biebrzanski Park, the biggest Polish National Park.

  • Arrival to Goniadz, check-in the hotel and dinner.

8th day

Goniadz (Augustow) – Gizycko – Gierloz – Olsztyn

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out. Transfer to Gizycko and trip on a boat to Dobski Lake with the isle of cormorans birds. Lunch box.
  • Visit of Wilczy Szaniec fortification in Gierloz, where Hitler had his refuge during World War II. Transfer to Olsztyn and visit of the place – the castle and the town.

9th day

Olsztyn – Torun – Malbork - Gdansk

  • Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out. Departure to Torun. Guided tour to Torun: medieval town inscribed on the World Heritage List of the UNESCO. Visit to the house of Copernicus, the most famous Polish astronomer. Visit to the cathedral built in the years 1250-1500 and to the fortified walls with the Leaning Tower. Transfer to Malbork. Lunch in Malbork.
  • Visit to Malbork Castle Museum. The Teutonic Order started to build it in the year 1380. This monument is inscribed on the List of Human Heritage of the UNESCO.

10th day

Gdansk and Solidarnosc

  • Guided tour to Gdansk, one of the most rich cities in the XVII century. In the programme: the cathedral of Oliwa with the famous organ. Concert of the organ music, the Town Hall, the Fish Market, the Old Harbour, the Long Market with the Neptune Fountain, the Artus Cort.

  • Lunch in one of the restaurants in the centre of Gdansk.

  • “Solidarnosc”: visit to the museum of Solidarnosc in the Gdansk shipyard and to the monument of the Fallen Gdansk Shipyard Workers in the year 1970. Transfer to Sopot and walk along the pier of Sopot: the capital of the Polish see. Next, transfer to Westerplatte, where on the 1 of September of 1939 the World War II began.
