Cartoon Lodz
Filemon & Bonifacy, Plastuś, Uszatek the Teddy Bear and Piotruś with his Enchanted Pencil. – these are just a few characters created by the famous Se-Ma-For animation studio in Łódź. Between 2009 and 2015, 9 statues representing famous Polish cartoon characters were created in this city. Children are guaranteed to be delighted wehile searching for their beloved characters. Cartoon Łódź is a project, which assumed creating a family friendly trail from the very beginning, with the main purpose of promoting the movie legacy of the city.

The Textile Museum
One of the greatest attractions that you can visit for free in Łódź is the Textile Museum. Every thursday all entrances to the museum are free of charge. This is a special place in Łódź, located in the old Ludwik Geyer factory by Piotrkowska street. The exhibit of the museum consists of raw materials, which were used in the creation of the textiles, machines, tools and many more. One of the most interesting thing to see here is the reconstruction of the weaving mill from the late 19th and early 20th century.

The monumental tram depot
Free attractions in Łódź also include something special for fans of historic vehicles. The Brus monumental tram depot isn’t running everyday, although it does organize open days regularly. Here, you can admire everything related to trams – an old stock, monumental traffic lights and archival tickets.
