Free museums in Warsaw

1.The Polish Army Museum
In the collection of the museum there more than 250 000 artefacts with a military-historical theme. In the Polish Army Museum you will be able to see collections of firearm, as well as uniforms and equipment of the soldiers. The museum can be visited for free on thursdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
2.The Warsaw Rising Museum.
The Warsaw Rising Museum is an incredible place, which combines history and modernity in a very interesting way. The modern ways of presentation create a unique atmosphere thorugh visualization and sound. The Warsaw Rising Museum can be visited for free on Mondays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
3.The Museum Station (The Railways Museum)
This museum is located in the former railway station called Warszawa Główna Osobowa. The Museum Station took control of of the collection after the Railway Museum was shut down in march of 2016. The current location of the museum is temporary, there are plans to relocate the museum to Odolony in Warsaw. The museum’s collection is presented in four exhibition rooms and at the outside exhibition. You can visit the museum for free on mondays between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
4.The Łazienki Królewskie Museum
If you decide to visit Łazienki Królewskie for free, you will be able to visit the Old Orangery and the Island Palace, which functions as a museum thanks to Stanisław August. He was the one to transform the Palace into a Villa Museum. You can go inside the old Orangery and the Island Palace on Fridays between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
