Krakow: Cruises on Vistula River
Are you ready for a different way of discovering new places? We will take you for a private cruise on the Vistula river (up to 12 people on one boat). Be prepared to meet one of our gondolas – Julia, Anna, Zbyszko, Wanda, Jagienka, Danusia or Heligunda. You will be able to admire a lot of charming landscapes of Krakow including view of Wawel Hill. Your journey will start in the city center – from the boat dock “Cape Verde”.
We offer 3 different options for such private cruise:
1) Panorama of Krakow
You will start the cruise with the view of Royal Castle on the Wawel Hill, near the Debnicki Bridge. Then we will pass by Monastery of Norbertine Sisters dated on 12th century. On the way you will be able also to see the church of Saint Salvatore (from 12th century), the Hill of Saint Bronislawa with the Kosciuszko Mound.
Coming back to the city center you will have a better look at the Wawel Hill and it’s beauty. Afterwards you will admire the church of Archangel Michael and Bishop Stanislaus on the Rock dated on 11th century. Views from the gondola of the Old Town on one side of the river combined with modern architecture (Museum of Japan Art and Technique – Manggha) on the other side will give you a new experience of this part of the city.

2) Krakow – Bielany
From the starting point – “Cape Verde” we will go towards Bielany where on Silver Mountain the monastery and church of the Camaldolese Fathers is located. Before we reach this destination, we will pass by Monastery of Norbertine Sisters in Salwator District, 20th century Przegorzaly Castle on the hill, house of Pope John Paul II, Kosciuszko Mound and Zwierzyniecki Bridge. Behind this bridge all the way until we see Monastery in Bielany, you will admire beautiful nature of Vistula valley and Wolski Forest instead of buildings and monuments of the city.

3) Krakow – Tyniec
Starting from “Cape Verde” located close to the Wawel Hill we will go towards Salwator District and see all highlights of this part of Krakow which are visible from the side of the river including Monastery of Norbertine Sisters, Przegorzaly Castle on the edge of Wolski Forest, Pope’s house, Kosciuszko Mound and beautiful Monastery and Church of the Camaldolese Fathers in Bielany. However during this longer version of our cruise, we will not start coming back to the centre while reaching Bielany but continue our journey through beautiful green Vistula valley. We will pass by sport centre with artificial mountain kayaking track and finally reach our main goal – Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec. Built in 11th century and picturesquely situated on the limestone rock is very well known for delicious Benedictine products made and sold here. You can also find here church of Saints Peter and Paul, convent buildings, café and a restaurant.
This private cruise lasts 4 hours which includes 1 hour stop at Tyniec so you can visit the Benedictine Abbey.
