Lublin: Tour to Belzec Death Camp & Zamosc

Belzec death camp was the first extermination center opened in a German zone of occupation established in Poland after invasion in 1939. Daily gassing operations at the camp began in March 1942. It is estimated that between 430,000 and 500,000 people were murdered in Belzec camp. It was the third-deadliest German Nazi extermination camp (exceeded only by Treblinka and Auschwitz).
