Tarnow: Lancut Castle Tour

One of the most well-known aristocratic residences in Poland. The Lancut Castle is renowned for its breathtaking architecture, spectacular interiors and marvelous collection of horse-drawn carriages. The castle was first constructed in the second half of the 16th century. Later, the entire complex was transformed into a palace-residence. In the past,the Lancut Castle was also the residence of two most significant families: the Lubomirski family, which lived here until 1816, and the Potocki family, which lived here until 1944.

Currently, the castle is surrounded by an English style gorgeous park filled with pavilions and farm buildings.
