The favorable climate, brine springs and peat deposits resulted in establishing a health resort here in the 1830s. 3. visiting the Ciechocinek Spa Town for up to 2 hours with our guide; during the tour you will see:

• flower carpets – in front of the former Lazienki III, along the entire width of the green area, there is a famous flower carpet, the layout and composition of which is changed every year. Plants with decorative leaves of various varieties and species are planted here to obtain a spectacular flowerbed
• Orthodox church – Orthodox church of St. Michael Archangel is a unique building in this region of Poland and thanks to its original architectural values, it has become one of the most valuable historic buildings of the city and spa. It was designed in 1894 in the Zaurian style. It is also the only facility of this type in Europe. The church was open until the 20s of the previous century
• Spa Park – the biggest park in Ciechocinek
• the famous „Grzybek” fountain – situated in the city center. It is not only a spa decoration, but also an industrial one
• Concert shell – the Concert Shell is located in the center of the Zdrojowy Park. It was designed by Waldemar Piotr Fedders as a concert stage. It was established in 1909 in an unusual Zakopane style for Ciechocinek. Many famous performers all over Poland have appeared here
• Mineral water pump room- built in 1881 in the Swiss style. It is made of wood, characterized by rich, openwork carved decorations. Currently, it is a banquet hall – Gregorian Hall. In the 1960s, the facility was fully developed
• Graduation towers – a unique and the largest wooden structure in Europe for evaporating water from brine. Three such buildings were built in Ciechocinek – arranged in the shape of a horseshoe (we will have the chance to visit them inside)
• President’s Manor House – restored and meticulously renovated, the Presidential Manor House today houses reminders of President Ignacy Moscicki and temporary exhibitions presenting the activities of the presidents
• the 19th-century Summer Theater – one of the main attractions of Ciechocinek; built in the Swiss Art Nouveau style in 1891
