Wroclaw: Czocha Castle & Kliczkow Castle Tour

Besides, the best-known Ksiaz Castle, we would also take you to see the impressive Czocha Castle – a medieval castle which hides many secrets and has an interesting history. It is also called the „Polish Hogwarts’ ‘. Why? Because it is in this Lower Silesian facility that the world-famous LARPs, the Summer Magic School and magic workshops for schools take place. Tourists usually pay special attention to the majesty of the building. Its fabulous aura is a real paradise for photography enthusiasts. Afterwards, we will make a stop at the enchanting Kliczkow Castle which is located in the heart of Bory Dolnoslaskie, surrounded by a huge, 80-hectare English-style park. Tour itinerary:
- pick up from your hotel in the morning
- A 1 hour 40 min drive to the Kliczkow Castle;
- visiting the castle for up to 45 – 60 min with a local guide in English or German.; during the tour you will see:
- the court,
- the theater,
- ball rooms,
- castle chambers,
- the art gallery where you can admire and buy live young works of Polish artists
- the horse cemetery, the first of its kind in Europe
- castle park with two courtyards
- the pitcher,
- the devil’s dam,
- hydroelectric power plants on theKwisa River – you can walk along the nature and educational path along the river where you will come across the ruins of the house of Abraham Gottlob Werner, a famous mineralogist

- the great Knight’s Hall, which occasionally serves as a ballroom.
- the beautiful Marble Hall, with many wall paintings and a fireplace, in which, according to the legend, a few days old baby was walled up
- the castle also houses an exhibition of communication equipment used by the Polish army during the Polish People’s Republic and an exhibition of treasures found at the castle during its renovation in 2015
- the castle Treasury, the interior is guarded by a steel and concrete door; the valuable content has become an object of desire
- the Library Hall is certainly impressive, with books filling the niches located from the floor to the ceiling. This room is also full of Masonic symbolism, which awakens the imagination of every lover of adventure and history
- the Portrait Room – here on its walls you will see the images of the Piasts
- the famous Prince’s Chamber, the legend mentions about a specially placed trapdoor under the marriage bed, which threw the sleeper into the dungeon
- the beautiful bathroom adjacent to the Bedroom Chamber, Daughters’ Chamber – it used to belong to the last owner of the castle and enters the Observation Tower, from where there is a beautiful panorama of the Kwisa River surrounding the castle and the nearby forests
