Zakopane: The Valley of Five Polish Ponds Hiking Tour
The Valley of Five Polish Ponds is one of the most valuable areas of the Tatra National Park. The original landscape is created by numerous postglacial forms, such as the ponds which the valley owes its name to. The largest of them – Wielki Staw (Great Pond) – is the longest and deepest lake in the whole mountain chain. During the hike, you will pass by the impressive Siklawa – a large waterfall (70 meters high). We will also reach the highest situated shelter in Poland (1670 m above sea level)
The valley is absolutely worth visiting, regardless of the season. It is a very attractive destination itself which can also be a good starting point for trips to the higher parts of the mountains. We are sure you will be charmed with its beauty, that is why you should join us for this tour. The whole effort of hiking will be compensated.
