Krakow: Snowmobile riding

If you are currently staying in Krakow, like to spend your time actively and have a free day for an adventure, we can offer you snowmobile riding on the Gubalowka Mountain located in Zakopane. This is the most popular destination during the winter season in Poland. While having an exciting time on slopes full of snowdrifts, you will also have the chance to admire the beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains, forests and the city. We are sure that this experience will be unforgettable and you will have a great time!

We can offer you this extraordinary activity in 3 options:

1. Snow trip safari – a 1-hour snowmobile tour with a short break to make photographs at a scenic place. This version is recommended for the younger participants.
2. Snow pro safari – a 2-hour snow safari on mountain slopes, more intensive than option 1 with short breaks. It will be a good option for adults.
3. Snow fun safari – a 3-hour snowmobile adventure combined with warm refreshments by the bonfire. Under the supervision of our guides you will go away a few kilometers from Zakopane, then stop for a rest, light a bonfire, drink hot tea and eat a warm meal. After the break, we will go back to Gubalowka.

Activity program:

1. Pick up from your hotel in Krakow at chosen time
2. A drive of approx 2,5 hours to the venue with a private vehicle and a private English speaking driver
3. Meeting with a local English-speaking instructor (30 minutes ahead of the planned start)
4. Short training before the ride begins.
5. Up to 1, 2 or 3 hours of riding with an instructor (depending on the option)
6. Drive back to your hotel of up to 3 hours after the event.
7. Hotel drop off in Krakow

Our proposal for this activity includes:

• Private transportation to the venue and back
• Private English speaking driver’s service
• Professional certified English-speaking snowmobile instructors
• A snow safari tour on the Gubalowka Mountain (the length depends on the option)
• Necessary equipment (safety helmets and goggles for the ride, protection clothes)
• The service of an English-speaking instructor/guide who rides on a separate scooter with the group
• In option 3, additionally hot meal by the bonfire

Important information:

• Each driver needs to have a valid driving license
• All passengers need to be at least 5 years old to take part in the event
• Every Participant is obligated to sign the declaration and accept the terms and conditions.
• Every Participant is obligated to have valid driver’s licence, passport or ID
• In case of entering a public road, the participants must oblige Polish general road rules
• The instructor has the right to terminate the contract without refund of the down payment if the participants are the influence of alcohol
• Hotel pick up time as well as activity’s start time/route may change in due to the weather conditions and organization
• Attention! Not reaching the appointed time will be understood as a resignation from participation in the expedition and the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
• The instructors speak English, German and French
• The season starts approximately in December when there is enough snow and lasts until the end of the winter season – March / April.
• You can buy insurance at the price of 80 PLN per driver
• In case of insufficient amount of snow, snowmobiles will be replaced by 4×4 quads – the rest of the program is implemented as standard.
