Warsaw: Tank driving

When looking for an unusual thing to do in Warsaw, why not try to ride a real tank? Just a 1-hour ride outside of the Polish capital can bring you to an extraordinary place where you can make your wildest dreams come true and board a monstrous war vehicle.

Here, on a former proving grounds of the Missile Defense Forces of the Warsaw Pact you will have a chance to experience history and board a legendary T-55 A tank – a giant produced between 1968 and 1981 that boasts a 12-cylinder diesel engine W-55 with up to 580 horsepower, total weight of 36.5 tons and is equipped with such weapons as a cannon (caliber 100 mm) and a machine gun (caliber 7.62 mm).

Join us and see for yourself how it feels to become a real soldier in a place that was a witness to military history and has sunk in litres of sweat and blood.

Activity program:

1. Pick up from your hotel in Warsaw at chosen time
2. A drive of approx. 1 hour to the venue with a private vehicle and a private English speaking driver
3. Meeting with a local tank driver and boarding a tank
4. Riding a tank – 4 laps on a special track (3,5 km, a total time of approx. 30 minutes)*
5. Return transfer after the event of approx 1 hour
6. Hotel drop off

Whole activity with transportation lasts approximately 2,5 – 3 hours

Important information:

• There is a maximum of 4 people per one ride (all participants ride in groups of up to 4 persons, in case of more than 4 persons the group is split, eg in case of 7 persons there are 2 rides of 3,5 km – one for 4 persons and one for 3 persons)
