Chaim Nowik Palace in Bialystok

The residence of Chaim Nowik – a manufacturer and the owner of the biggest XX century cloth and hat factory in Bialystok – was built between 1900 and 1910. It is a palace characterized by a sophisticated rotunda in its corner.

Original Art Nouveau polychrome is well-preserved in its interiors. The front elevation is decorated with laurel leaves, fruit and wreaths. In 1944, Army Hospital was located in the palace while nowadays Military Draft Office has its headquarters here.
