Zakopane: Kayaking in the Pieniny National Park

The Dunajec Canyon is a natural border between Poland and Slovakia. On both sides there is fauna and flora, characteristic for this area, as well as the Three Crowns massif (982 m a.s.l.) and Sokolica (747 m a.s.l.). Picturesque landscapes, amazing views and the sound of a mountain river attract tourists from all over the world every year. The biggest attraction of this region is definitely the Dunajec rafting activity. You can choose to admire the beauty all around by joining the cheerful rafters for the calm version of rafting, a more exciting version – on pontoons and also by canoeing. Yet, kayaking is more demanding than rafting. You need to control the kayak on your own and choose the right way to swim. Luckily, the level of difficulty of the Dunajec River is easy. Each participant is equipped with a safety vest, a helmet and safety is supervised by instructors on a mountain kayak, who help them choose the right way of sailing and ensures safety. Our instructors are enthusiasts of mountain canoeing with numerous sporting achievements. Tour itinerary:

1. pick up from your hotel in Zakopane at chosen time
2. up to 1,5 hour drive from Zakopane to Sromowce Nizne – starting point of the canoeing lesson
3. time to change and choose the necessary equipment and arrange all issues with the instructor
4. up to 2 hours of canoeing along the Dunajec River Canyon (14 km distance)
5. the route finishes in Szczawnica, here you can change and give back the equipment
6. up to 1,5 hour drive back to Zakopane from Szczawnica
7. your hotel drop off in Zakopane
