Zakopane: A Treetop Tour in Pieniny National Park

If you enjoy relaxing in a green scenery with nature and silence and like to admire picturesque views of the mountains, we can take you for a special walk to the Bachledka Treetop Route on the border of the Pieninski and Tatra National Park in Slovakia. Once you get there you will have a short cable car ride to the Magura Spiska point where this attraction is located. As soon as you reach the 32 metres high observation tower, take a deep breath and cherish the moment in this magnificent place. After your walk in the treetops, we you take you to the next point of this tour – Strbske Pleso, a must see in this region. On the way there, you will have the chance to admire the majestic charm of the Tatra Mountains with its highest points like Gerlach – the highest one in the whole mountain chain – Slawkowski Szczyt, and Tatrzanska Lomnica. Tour itinerary

1. early morning pick up in Zakopane , drive to the Bachledka Valley in Slovakia
2. a short cable car ride to Magura Spiska
3. walk through the route in the treetops – an open path which is 600 m long and goes through a forest with many unique species of plants, trees and animals; while strolling down the path you will have the chance expand your knowledge about this region; the educational route includes information plates in English (6 stops) with interesting facts about the fauna, flora, the life and protection of local forests
4. cable car ride down to the parking
5. drive to Strbske Pleso – a beautiful lake which lays on 1346 m above the sea level and it reminds the Polish Morskie Oko; ts a very popular spot on the map of the Polish Tatra Mountains, a must-see in this area; ihas the status of a climatic health resort and during the winter season it is a well-known skiing resort.
