Gdansk: Kitesurfing

Catch the wind and fly over the sea! For all water fans we are happy to offer a unique chance to try their skills and improve their kiteboard proficacy. You may be surprised as this sport discipline is mostly associated with tropical islands and warm water but believe us, if the conditions are favourable, you may fly away in awe over what the Baltic sea can offer. So let us take you to the Hel Peninsula and experience the unforgettable moments with the kite. Our excellent professional instructors will take you to the best spots depending on the direction of the wind, make sure all goes well and show you how you can master your skills.

Activity program:

1. Pick up from your hotel in Gdansk at chosen time
2. A drive of up to 2 hours to the venue with a private vehicle and a private English speaking driver
3. Meeting with a professional English speaking instructor
4. Up to 2 hours of kitesurfing with the equipment (including preparations, practical instructions and time in the water)
5. Return transfer after the event (up to 2 hours)
6. Hotel drop off in Gdansk

Whole activity with transportation lasts approximately 6 hours

Our proposal for this activity includes:

• Private transportation to the venue and back with an English-speaking driver
• Professional, English speaking instructor’s service
• Up to 2 hours of kitesurfing lesson with the instructor
• Necessary equipment rental (kite, board, wetsuit)

Individual lessons:

• 1100 PLN per person (1 person)
• 740 PLN per person (2 persons)

Important information:

• *Please note that the shared classes include one board and kite per 2 persons and are possible only for the participants of the approximate weight and size in each pair (eg in case of a booking for 3 persons there can be 2 persons of 60 kg and 1 person of 80 kg, in case of a group of 4, there can be 2 persons of 60 kg and 2 persons of 80 kg etc)
• In case of the windless weather, the activity may be cancelled by the organiser 1-2 days prior to the date and full refund will be issued
• In case the participants cancel their booking less than 3 working days before the event, 50% charge will apply
• This activity is not meant for the beginners. In order to book this activity, you need to have at least level 2 IKO certificate skills (the certificate is not needed, the instructor will assess the abilities at the beginning of the activity). In case the participant(s) will not have any practical skills in kitesurfing, the instructor may not let them use the equipment on the sea and it will not be a base for the refund
• If you are interested in starting the adventure with kitesurfing – please contact us, we can also organise the beginner level classes (on average at least 10 hours of the course needed to start practical part on the sea)
• An unconditional requirement for participation in this event is good swimming ability
