Gdansk: Vineyard sightseeing and wine tasting
Despite the Kashubian region in Poland not being renowned for vine cultivation, and the climate not being particularly warm, there are exceptional vineyards in this area. These vineyards produce quality wines, showcasing the unique terroir of the region. We can organize a tour from Gdansk to one of the vineyards and offer a delightful experience for wine enthusiasts, providing a chance to explore and taste the hidden gems of Kashubian viticulture.
Tour Itinerary:
- hotel pick up at chosen time
- up to 1,5 hour drive from Gdansk to Kashubian vineyard by private car/van with English speaking driver
- approx. 1 hour tour of the vineyard and lavender field, along with a brief history of the place, discussion of the basic varieties of grapevines, and forms of vine cultivation. Local English speaking guide will try to answer every question regarding cultivation
- Tasting 5 of local natural wines, including one sparkling wine (2 white, 1 rosé, 1 red, 1 PetNat) with a small snack consisting of boards of regional cheeses, meats, bread, and water. Wine tasting lasts approx. 2 hours
- up to 1,5 hour drive from Kashubian vineyard back to Gdansk
- drop off at your hotel
