Krakow: Auschwitz Self Guided Tour

This afternoon tour is dedicated to those who prefer self guided visits at their own pace instead of group sightseeing tours with live guide and other participants. During your tour you will be able to follow the same standard visiting path as organized groups with live guides do and this includes both camps Auschwitz I (Main Camp) and Auschwitz II – Birkenau (Death Camp). Before you enter the camps, we will rent you an official guidebook of Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in your chosen language. Sightseeing on your own is easy because The Memorial Site has a complex system of presentations of the former camp areas described in English, Hebrew and Polish languages. At several information boards at the former Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau QR codes were located which give access to testimonies of survivors who talk about events which took place at that particular location.

Tour itinerary:

1. Pick up from one of the meeting points in Krakow
2. 1 hour and 30 minutes driving by air-conditioned vehicle to Auschwitz Concentration Camp Museum
3. Up to 4 hours of free time for sightseeing with guidebooks (booklets) of Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum
4. Driving back to Krakow in the same vehicle
5. Drop off in Krakow

Whole tour lasts approx 7-8 hours
