Krakow: Group Tour to Birkenau & Monowitz

During this tour we will not visit Auschwitz Museum (Auschwitz I) but we will focus on Birkenau Concentration Camp (Auschwitz II) which was the largest part of whole Auschwitz Complex where approx 90% of all victims of the camp died. Main advantages of this offer are:

• visiting Birkenau Camp with no rush but with lots of time for reflection, at your own pace as you will be visiting with the guidebook in your language and a map of the camp, without the live guide

• you will also visit Monowitz Camp (Auschwitz III) – forced labor camp where IG Farben company had its factory
• Fountain of Tears – masterpiece of sculpture art by Rick Wienecke. You will have deep emotional experience while admiring this Sculptured dialogue of suffering between the Holocaust and the Crucifixion. You will be accompanied by local English speaking guide
• Judenrampe (Jewish ramp) – railway ramp which received transports of Jewish prisoners designated for extermination in the gas chambers of Birkenau. You will also see authentic wagon from the period of Holocaust and memorial board.
