The city gained its position as the country’s winter capital between the world wars, mostly thanks to the development of ski tourism. During our tour you will get a chance to experience fresh air and true culture of Polish highlands. We will shows you the vigorous city centre, medieval churches, and spectacular mountain views. Join us for a delightful funicular ride up the Gubalowka Mountain and a wonderful walk along its rib to Butorowy Wierch Mountain. Of course, there is no chance you will miss the Old Town of Zakopane, the ancient cemetery, the Tatra Museum, Papal Sanctuary at Krzeptowki and Krupowki – the main commercial street ibn Zakopane. You will get a chance to taste local highlanders cuisine during free time for lunch, includimng one of local cheese called Oscypek -traditional regional smoked cheese. While going back, you will have a chance to admire unique, 19th century wooden houses in Chocholow.
