Rzeszow: Tour to Zamosc

Zamosc – small town in southeastern Poland, famous for being the “Polish pearl of the Renaissance”, founded by Jan Zamoyski and modelled on Italian theories of the ‘ideal city’. Its main designer was Italian architect Bernardo Morano. Today it is one of the most picturesque towns in Poland and what is the most important – it remains unchanged since the 16th century when it was created. Since 1992 the historical centre of Zamosc has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We highly recommend this one day tour to the so-called “Padua of the north”.
