Join our passionate crew for an unforgettable week exploring the wonders of Bialowieza Primeval Forest and Biebrza Marshes. This budget-friendly adventure is designed for you to witness a diversity of wildlife at your own pace, led by expert local guides.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1 – transfer from Warsaw to Bialowieza Forest

Days 2-8 – Wildlife watching in the Bialowieza Forest and other areas – do it yourself or join some of our local guided optional trips:

Bison Safari, 3-4 hrs: Embark on a short walk at dusk or dawn in search of majestic European Bison. You might also encounter Wild Boar, Red Deer, Corncrake, or some of the Woodpeckers.

UNESCO Site, 4–6 hrs: Explore the core area of the Białowieża National Park, a World Heritage Site with pristine habitat and high chances of spotting rare Woodpeckers.

Woodpeckers, 4hrs: Take a short drive and walks in various forest habitats to find White-backed, Black, Three-toed, Middle-spotted, Grey-headed Woodpeckers, and more.

Dawn Patrol, 4hrs: Join a thrilling drive and/or walk at some of the best forest patches to increase your chances of seeing Wolves and Lynxes. You’ll also encounter many other amazing animals.

Pygmy Owl, 4hrs: Look for Europe’s smallest owl, the Pygmy Owl, on a thrilling dawn or dusk trip. This time of day is also great for general wildlife activity, and you might spot Bison, Racoon Dogs, and more.

Forest at dusk, 4-6 hrs: Immerse yourself in the true forest experience during this evening walk. Reconnect with nature, listen to the sounds of the forest, and watch for Owls, Bison, Racoon Dogs, and more.

Biebrza Marshes, 2 days, incl. hotel & food: Spend two days exploring the famous Biebrza Marshes, known for its Aquatic Warblers, Bluethroat, Greater Spotted Eagle, and Beavers. Enjoy an unforgettable boat trip and Elk Safari.

Siemianowka Lake, 8–10 hrs: Take a full day trip to Siemianowka Reservoir, a haven for Black Storks, White-tailed Eagles, Citrine Wagtails, and many other birds, amphibians, and reptiles.

Birdwatching, 4 hrs: Look for local bird rarities like Barred, River, Icterine, Savi’s, Great Reed, and Marsh Warblers, as well as Red-backed Shrike, Rosefinch, Wryneck, Thrush Nightingale, and more!

Great Snipe lek, 5 hrs: Witness an unforgettable evening spectacle – the lekking behavior of the Great Snipe, one of Europe’s rarest birds.

Forest at night, 4 hrs: Embark on a night walk through the forest with a guide to experience the primeval call of nature. You might see and hear various Owls, nocturnal mammals, and more.

Forest off-trails, 4 hrs: Leave the beaten path and explore the forest from the perspective of wild animals. Learn basic tracking and orientation skills and deepen your understanding of nature.

Day 9 – Transfer to Warsaw, finish by 14:00

Price: from 5350 PLN per person

Price includes costs of the transfers, accommodation, plentiful breakfasts and 3-course dinners. If you feel like watching wildlife on your own – it’s all you pay for.
