It is widely believed that the mentioned painting has miraculous powers since saving the monastery during the Siege of Jasna Gora at the time of Swedish invasion in the middle of 17th century. 3. meeting our local private monk guide in chosen language at the Monastery of Jasna Gora
4. up to 1,5 hour of private guide tour of the Monastery during which you will be able to see:

• The Basilica of Jasna Gora – the main part of the monastery, dedicated to the Holy Cross and to the Assumption of the Holy Mother, the interior has opulent, Baroque furnishings,
• Knights’ Hall – its paintings depict key events from the history of monastery,
• The Chapel of Miraculous Painting of Our Lady with the image of Black Madonna of Czestochowa – the main icon of worship. It is believed that the painting was made by Saint. Luke the Evangelist,
• Museum of the 600th Anniversary of Jasna Gora Monastery – one of the several exhibitions at the monastery of Czestochowa
• The Treasury – covers most valuable gifts handed over to Our Lady of Jasna Gora, the oldest part of the museum
• St. Roch Bastion with 18th century exhibitions including art craft and historical memorabilia.
