Tour itinerary:
- hotel pick up at chosen time
- partially driving tour and partially walking tour of Old Town and New Town of Warsaw city centre up to 3,5 hours total that let you visit:
- Main Market Square – central point of historic Warsaw’s Old town district
- Castle Square with Royal Castle and King Zygmunt’s III Column – one of the landmarks of the city
- Barbican – main gate of city walls erected in 1540, one of few remaining parts of former historic fortifications that onces encircled Warsaw
- St John’s Cathedral – one of the oldest churches in Warsaw, witness of many important events in history of Poland
- Presidential Palace on Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street – historical building with monument of Prince Poniatowski in front of it
- Tomb of Unknown Soldier – dedicated to all soldiers who died for the country during wars for independence, war against Russian Bolsheviks in 1920 and during World War 2
- Monument to Little Insurgent commemorating heroism of children who took part in Warsaw Uprising in 1944 and lost their lives during the fights
- Warsaw Uprising Monument on Krasinskich Square
- Memorial and Monument to the Heroes of the Ghetto commemorating Uprising in Warsaw Jewish Ghetto in 1943. We also drive through the area of former Jewish Ghetto
- Palace of Culture and Science – probably the most recognizable and one of the highest buildings in Warsaw. We will ride up by the lift to 30th floor and admire beautiful panoramic view over the city from its terrace
- Lazienki Royal Park – summer residence of last king of Poland and today the largest park in Warsaw with famous Palace on the Water and monument to composer Fryderyk Chopin
3. free time for lunch
4. 20 minutes drive south from the centre to Wilanow Palace and Park – built in the end of 17th century for Polish King Jan III Sobieski
5. approximately 2,5 hours of guided sightseeing of the Palace including:
- art exhibitions and gallery of portraits
- Royal apartments and chambers
- French and Baroque gardens in the Royal Park
6. drive back to the centre with making a detour through Praga District located on the eastern side of Vistula River which will allow you to see:
- embankment of Vistula river with sandy beaches, forest and boulevards
- National Stadium – built in 2011, right before EURO 2012 Football Championships held in Poland and Ukraine, venue of many international sport events and concerts
- Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel and St. Florian the Martyr on Florianska Street
- pre-war atmosphere of Zabkowska Street – one of the oldest streets in Warsaw and Brzeska Street
