Lublin: 2 Day Tour to Auschwitz and Krakow

Join us for an unforgettable 2-day tour from Lublin to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp and the historical city of Krakow.

Begin your journey with a departure from Lublin, where you will be comfortably transported to the railway station for your scenic train ride to Krakow. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the city’s rich history, with the option to explore its charming streets and historical landmarks on a guided walking tour or by yourself.

The second day you will visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum. A guided tour of the camps will offer a somber yet essential insight into one of history’s darkest chapters, the Holocaust.

Tour itinerary:

DAY 1

  1. Early morning hotel pick up and transfer with our English speaking driver to the railway station in Lublin (exact time depends on train schedule)
  2. Receiving 2nd class return tickets for the train connection between Lublin and Krakow and assistance of our driver at the platform
  3. Comfortable journey by train on your own (approx 5 hours)
  4. Getting off the train in Krakow and meeting our local private English-speaking driver at the platform and transfer to the chosen hotel
  5. Free time  / *up to 3 hours of guided walking tour of Krakow Old Town

DAY 2

  1. Early morning check out from your hotel in Krakow and private transportation to Auschwitz (approx. 1,5 hours)
  2. Start of the local group tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau with a local guide in chosen language (approx. 3,5 hours total)
  3. Return to Krakow and drop off near the Krakow train station
  4. Approx. 5 hours journey back by train from Krakow to Lublin
  5. Pick up at the platform of railway station in Lublin by our English speaking driver and transfer back to your hotel in Lublin

  • Jagiellonian University: This venerable educational institution is the oldest in Poland and among the earliest in Europe, with distinguished alumni such as Nicolaus Copernicus and Karol Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II).
  • Main Market Square: Nestled at the center of the Old Town, it stands as Europe’s biggest medieval market square, with dimensions of 200 meters on each side, and features prominent structures like the famed Cloth Hall and the Town Hall tower.
